Our Criminal Law Practice is devoted to representing clients charged with criminal misdemeanors and DUI’s in Phoenix Municipal Court, Scottsdale Municipal Court, Gilbert Municipal Court, Tempe Municipal Court and Chandler Municipal Court. We will occasionally represent clients in other courts; however that decision is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Why do we limit ourselves to only a few courts and to only defending criminal misdemeanors and DUI’s? The answer is easy – we are a results driven firm and this simply allows us to maximize our time and efforts in a single direction with the goal of achieving the best possible resolution for each client. Your case will not be handled by an associate or a paralegal. Your case is personally handled by attorney Alicia Morrison.
Alicia Morrison, a native of Arizona, graduated cum laude from Arizona State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education with a bi-lingual certificate in Spanish. After teaching for several years, Ms. Morrison returned to Arizona State University and graduated in 2002 with her law degree. Ms. Morrison then served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel A. Barker of the Arizona Court of Appeals. Ms. Morrison is fluent in Spanish and has spent her entire legal career devoted to representing clients charged with criminal misdemeanors. Ms. Morrison has extensive experience defending DUI’s related to prescription medication such as Ambien (Zolpidem), Zoloft (Sertraline), Oxycodone, and Xanax (Alprazolam). Ms. Morrison also lectures in seminars to other criminal defense attorneys about her extensive experience in defending DUI’s.
Mike Skupin, originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, graduated from Claremont McKenna College in southern California in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and received his law degree and Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University in 1997. Mr. Skupin is licensed to practice law in the State of Arizona and is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.
